Woman Rescues Two Kittens Thrown into River in Heartbreaking Incident

In a shocking yet heartwarming incident in Iwonicz Zdrój, Poland, Mrs. Agnieszka and her 17-year-old son made a heartbreaking discovery near their new home. While working in the garden, they heard faint meows coming from the nearby river. Following the sound, they found a black plastic bag floating in the water — inside was a freezing black-and-white kitten fighting for its life.

Moments later, they spotted a man in a lime green t-shirt fleeing on a bicycle after tossing another bag into the river. The second bag contained another kitten, wrapped in wet cloth and plastic.

Mrs. Agnieszka quickly rescued both kittens, warmed them, and reported the cruel act to the police. Although the suspect remains unidentified, the kittens are now safe and recovering under veterinary care.

This act of kindness turned a cruel moment into a story of compassion and hope.
